List of Things That Are Going Wrong

Just for today. Well, I can finally count the number of innings I've played in softball on two hands. Seven, count 'em, seven innings! Wow. *sarcasm* Our coaches always say that they would rather forfeit a game than let you play when you didn't come to practice the day before. So why did they let Emily Knipe play left field? (Coincidentally a position that I, someone who actually went to practice, play as well) Hmmm... So they put me in in the fourth inning, and I did some not great bunting... kept getting fouls. But when Coach asks me to hit normally, the pitcher hits me right in the throat, straight on. So I'm on my knees on home, crying and trying to breathe, and the ump says it was FOUL because it hit my bat, so I have to bat for like 5 more pitches, most of which go foul... So I get on first from the drop third strike, and I'm finally at third when oh, check it out, Emily seems to have struck out, and I can't run home. So I walk into the dugout, expecting the usual chorus of "are you all right?" and "Oh gosh that looked painful!" to a girl who got hit, and what do I hear? Silence. Not a single person, (ump excluded) INCLUDING MY COACHES asked if I was all right. Yup. The coaches just patted me on the back and told me to keep batting. And then, on the bus home, Hannah invited everyone on the team, and some of the boy's baseball team (They were on the bus with us) to Chipotle, EXCEPT ME. *sadness*

I'm just having a really tough day, I'm sorry. I needed a place to get that all out, and my little brother's playing with the dogs, (I don't feel like going downstairs all teartracked and red faced) so all I have is devart.... Nice to know that people care.
